Refund policy

Right of withdrawal (EU, EEA and UK customers)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki, chapter 6).

To exercise this right, contact us at iisak.jokisalo@atelier-229.com within 14 days of receiving your order to inform us of your decision to withdraw. You then have a further 14 days to send the item(s) back to us.

Items must be returned unused and unworn, with all original tags and packaging intact. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless the item is defective or we sent you the wrong item.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will refund the full purchase price (including standard delivery cost, where applicable) to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

Exceptions

In accordance with applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Custom-made or personalized items made to your specifications
Gift cards

Discounted or sale-priced items are not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Customers outside the EU/EEA/UK

For orders shipped outside the EU, EEA, and United Kingdom, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at iisak.jokisalo@atelier-229.com, and we will evaluate return or exchange options on a case-by-case basis.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at iisak.jokisalo@atelier-229.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method. Please note it can take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process and post the refund.
